Not being satisfied with iChat for Mac OS X, I decided to look for a multi-messenger.

Final Cut Studio

I ordered Final Cut Studio last Friday online, and it arrived in the mail today. In my opinion, it works 10 times better than Adobe Premiere. However, Final Cut Studio is a Mac-only set of applications, so all you Windows users are out of luck.

two monitors are useful

After my last blog post, someone asked me why I'd want or need two monitors on a single computer. One reason you may want two monitors is if you wanted to run Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop at the same time, as shown below in the pictures.

The good life

What would be better (especially for a web developer) than having all three major Operating Systems? I just bought a Macbook Pro today, so now I own the three most popular OS's out there.
Windows, Linux, & Mac
Specifically:
Windows XP Pro with dual monitors
Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) distribution of Linux
Mac OSX Leopard, version 10.5

Family Guy DVDs and seasons

One of the things that annoys me about the Family Guy DVD sets, is that after Volume Two, they stopped saying what season the episodes are from. So I'm going to list the seasons here.


Volume One has both Season 1 and Season 2
Volume Two is Season 3
Volume Three is the first part of Season 4
Volume Four is the second part of Season 4
Volume Five is the first part of Season 5
